Alexandra Bean

Alexandra Bean is an accomplished Operations Director for East Africa and the Great Lakes at the Danish Refugee Council since August 2019, also serving as Chief of Party for the Ethiopia Migration Programme under FCDO. Previous experience includes roles as Senior Advisor and Chief of Party/Deputy Team Lead at Creative Associates International from January 2014 to July 2019, where significant projects included access to justice initiatives and grants management. Other roles encompass program management and emergency operations with IOM - UN Migration, and as a Senior Program Development Officer at International Relief and Development. Educational qualifications include a Master of Environmental Management and Development from The Australian National University and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Psychology from RMIT University.
