Mattis Jämtbäck

James Mattis is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in software engineering and technical strategy, currently serving as the Android Platform Head for Automotive at Google since January 2019. Prior to this role, James held positions at FTD Companies as a Senior Staff Software Engineer, where leadership in an agile environment led to the successful modernization of an e-commerce platform, and at Mitchell International, where James spearheaded a significant migration project resulting in increased development velocity. With foundational experience at Cornerstone OnDemand and various private companies, James has consistently demonstrated expertise in web application architecture and cloud technologies, culminating in a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from San Diego State University.
