Malina Tang

Malina Tang has a diverse and extensive work experience in the fashion industry. Malina started their career as an Assistant Designer at Papaya Clothing in 2006. Malina then moved on to work at Sunset Boulevard Clothing Company as a Fashion Designer, and later as a Senior Designer from 2008 to 2013. In 2008, they joined Nema Avenue - Womens Clothing Manufacturer | Apparel Manufacturer as a Senior Sweater Designer, where they established and designed women's and men's sweaters. Malina's next role was as the Head of Design at Dream Clothing from 2015 to 2018, where they led the design team for women's omni channel and enhanced the brand voice. Malina then became the Senior Design Director at Dream Clothing, responsible for driving wholesale growth and focusing on customer needs. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Vice President at Dream Clothing, leading the design team and driving fabric innovation across multiple channels. Their work has contributed to significant profit growth and revenue for the company.

Malina Tang obtained a Bachelor's degree in Fine/Studio Arts, General from Sichuan University in 2001. Malina later pursued a Master's degree in Fashion/Apparel Design from the University of Southern California, completing it in 2005.
