Gesche Haas

Gesche Haas has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Gesche is the Founder & CEO of Dreamers & Doers®, a position they have held since December 2013. Gesche is currently a Venture Scout at Calm Company Fund and a Venture Partner at MBM Capital, both roles they started in 2022. In 2021, they became a Venture Partner at Republic, where they collaborate to support founders and has facilitated over $500 million in investments. Since 2015, Gesche has been an Advisor at Shine Inc., a company that aims to make wellbeing accessible. Gesche has also been an Advisor at FORTË since 2016. Additionally, they are an Activator at SheEO™, a global community supporting women + non-binary entrepreneurs, and has been involved in various advisory roles at Sensie, Founders Pledge, and SheKnows Media.

Gesche Haas completed their Abitur at the German Embassy High School Beijing in 2004. After that, they pursued an immersive year at Beijing Language and Culture University in 2004-2005, where they studied Mandarin. Gesche went on to earn a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a double major in Global Business and Operations Management, and a minor in China Studies at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology from 2005 to 2008. In 2007, Haas spent a semester abroad at NYU Stern School of Business. Alongside their formal education, they also pursued the CFA Level III candidacy, although they did not take the Level III exam due to switching industries.
