Monica Rivera

Monica Rivera is the founder of "YOU WANNA DO WHAT?!" since 2017. Monica has also held various roles at SAP, including being the Big Data Analytics Thought Leadership & Adoption Owner from 2015 to the present. In this role, Monica provided expertise in marketing, analytics, brand development, and community management, resulting in increased consumer awareness and improved adoption rates. Monica also worked as the Program Manager of Global Marketing Operations (Latin America) from 2009 to 2015, where they directed marketing programs and achieved 100% adoption of Insight Driven Marketing tools and processes across Latin America. Additionally, Monica has been a public speaker and member of Badassery since 2019 and is the founder of Dreamers // Doers since 2017. Prior to these roles, they worked as a Project Manager/Marketing Manager at Verizon Communications through McKinley Marketing Partners from 2006 to 2009. Monica began their career at Deloitte and Touche as a Sr. Consultant from 2004 to 2006, where they consulted on client initiatives and initiated business process re-engineering. Monica also worked at Citigroup as the VP of Credit Bureau Management from 2000 to 2004, where they directed new product strategy and managed cross-functional teams on projects targeting retail and small business markets.

Monica Rivera holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Economics from the University at Albany, SUNY. In addition, they have obtained a certification in Advertising on Facebook from LinkedIn in November 2021.
