Cecilia Long Salinas

Cecilia Long Salinas has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Cecilia began their career as a Sales Associate at Bakers 2013 LLC in 2011. Cecilia then interned at Webb County 406th District Court, where they managed and organized case files and assisted attorneys in court trials.

In 2014, Cecilia worked as an Account Manager at Bobcat Promotions, where they directed the account for Friends of Fine Arts and Communication at Texas State University. Cecilia managed their social media presence and drafted press releases for events and shows.

Cecilia then became a Professional Fundraiser at Ruffalo Noel Levitz, where they called prospective Texas State University students and fundraised for the Texas State Alumni Association.

In 2015, they took on the role of International Services Event Coordinator/Public Information Officer at the American Red Cross. Cecilia supported the Communications Director in public relations and marketing projects, created media tracking reports, and built marketing collateral in English and Spanish.

From 2016 to 2017, Cecilia worked as a Court Clerk at Webb County 406th District Court, where they indexed and secured court records, handled filing fees, and coordinated the jury panel selection process.

Following this, they served as a Deputy Court Clerk at Webb County, ensuring efficient record keeping, organizing and filing criminal documents and exhibits, and issuing various legal documents. Cecilia also created monthly reports for the Office of Court Administration and reported relevant information to the Texas Department of Public Safety.

In 2019, they joined CITY MEDIA ENT as a Casting Associate and was responsible for assisting with casting processes.

Currently, Cecilia works as a Legal Assistant at DreamHost. Their responsibilities include managing and tracking corporate compliance and filings for all DreamHost entities, assisting counsel in drafting contracts, and preparing and tracking contracts for different teams within the company. Cecilia also translated the Terms of Service from English to Spanish for the company's website.

Cecilia Long Salinas obtained their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Public Relations, Advertising, and Applied Communication from Texas State University from 2011 to 2016. During the same period, they also earned another Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Drama/Theatre Arts and Stagecraft from Texas State University. In 2015, they obtained certification as a Hootsuite Certified Professional from Hootsuite Media Inc.
