Kofi Asamoah

Kofi Asamoah has a diverse work experience in the field of engineering and software development. Kofi started their career as an intern at NCR Ghana in 2004, where they gained practical experience in the industry. In 2005, they worked as an intern at Software Engineering Consultancy, where they were involved in developing the business logic for an online telephone directory and an online hotel management system.

In 2007, Kofi joined Con-i Media as an intern before moving on to DreamOval Ltd, where they held various positions. Kofi started as a Software Engineer and worked there from December 2007 to March 2012. Kofi then transitioned into the role of Lead Anchor for Engineering and Research, where they worked from March 2012 to March 2018. Finally, they became the VP of Engineering in April 2018 and continues to serve in that role.

Throughout their career, Kofi has gained valuable skills and experience in software development, business logic implementation, and engineering leadership.

Kofi Asamoah has a strong education background in computer and information systems security. Kofi obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance from the University of Liverpool in the years 2012 to 2015. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Computer Engineering from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Kumasi, spanning from 2003 to 2007.

In addition to their formal education, Kofi has acquired several certifications to further enhance their knowledge and skills. These include certifications in Service-Oriented Architecture from Coursera in January 2021, Engineering Practices for Building Quality Software from Coursera in December 2020, CEU/CPE Secure Coding from Cybrary in October 2018, Mule ESB Certified Developer from MuleSoft Inc in October 2012, and Network+ from NCR Computer Science Institute in Accra, Ghana in August 2004.
