Georges Destriau

Georges Destriau is currently the Chief Financial Officer at DreamQuark. Prior to this, they worked as the Director of Customer Credit Risk Management at BASF from February 2012 to June 2017. In this role, they were responsible for managing the credit risk of BASF's customers (EUR 10 billion outstanding) for all business segments (Chemicals, Materials, Industrial Solutions, Surface Technologies, Nutrition & Care and Agricultural Solutions) and all geographical areas.

In an effort to build sustainable growth, Georges managed key customers, conducted financial solvency analyses, definedcredit limits taking into account business specifics, established global and specific processes for all customers, and implemented a storing tool (Smart Credit Optimizer) using data science to optimize default and delinquency forecasting. Georges also managed coverages (insurances, guarantees) and recovery procedures.

Georges Destriau was educated at the emlyon business school, where they earned their MBA in Corporate Finance. Georges also studied at the Lycée Sainte-Geneviève, where they prepared for the Baccalauréat C in Mathématiques & Physique.

Georges Destriau reports to Nicolas Meric, CEO. They are on a team with David Destemberg - Chief Revenue Officer, Mikko Hietanen - CRO, and Camille Morel - Head of Customer Success.
