Tomer Shiran

Tomer Shiran is a seasoned entrepreneur and technology leader with extensive experience in the data and software industries. As the Founder and CEO of Dremio since June 2015, Tomer has spearheaded the development of an innovative data lakehouse platform utilized by some of the world's largest corporations. Prior to Dremio, Tomer co-founded ePassportPhoto.com, the global leader in passport photo services, and served as Vice President of Product Management at MapR Technologies, overseeing significant growth and product strategy. Tomer's career also includes roles at HP Labs, Carnegie Mellon University, Microsoft, and IBM Research, showcasing a strong foundation in product management and software engineering. Tomer holds a Master's degree in Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology.
