Mary Poulhazan

Mary Poulhazan has extensive work experience in quality systems and document control within the biopharmaceutical industry. Mary most recently served as the Director of Quality Systems at Dren Bio, Inc. Prior to that, they held positions such as Associate Director of Quality Systems at Catalyst Biosciences, Senior Manager of Quality Systems and Document Control at CytomX Therapeutics, and Quality Assurance Manager at Achaogen. Mary also has experience as a Senior Quality Systems Manager and Quality Systems Manager at Raptor Pharmaceuticals. Mary's earlier career includes roles as a Fermentation Scientist at Novartis Vaccines and Diagnostics/Pro Unlimited, a Consultant in the Nutritionals Group at Solazyme, Inc., a Senior Scientist at Celera, and a Development Specialist at Chiron Corporation. Mary'sresponsibilities in these roles have involved managing quality systems, implementing and improving quality processes, overseeing regulatory compliance, and implementing and validating software systems. Mary has a strong background in process development and has contributed to projects related to fermentation, cell culture, and the development of diagnostic antigens.

Mary Poulhazan has a bachelor's degree in Bacteriology from the University of California, Davis. Mary also has studied Microbiology/Bacteriology at San Francisco State University. In addition, Mary has completed courses in CMC Regulatory Compliance, Molecular Biology, and Scientific Writing at UC Berkeley Extension. Mary has also pursued studies in Fermentation Engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Animal Cell Reactor Engineering at the University of Minnesota.
