Richard Blokzijl

Richard Blokzijl is an experienced educator and trainer in the automotive sector, currently serving as a Docent at Drenthe College since May 2020. Previously, Richard worked as a trainer/coach at Mens & Techniek, supporting technicians with diagnosis in the workplace. Richard's background includes roles as a Teacher Automotive at Drenthe College, a Docent voertuigentechniek at Het Erasmus, and a long tenure at ROC van Twente as a docent and SLB'er, where Richard also pursued a Master's degree in Learning and Innovation at Stenden Hogeschool Leeuwarden. Additionally, Richard has held positions in project leadership and curriculum development in vocational education, served as a writer for the Consortium beroepsonderwijs, and worked as a Technical Trainer at Innovam, delivering training for major automotive brands across Europe. Richard holds a Bachelor of Science in automotive teaching from Fontys University of Applied Sciences.
