Qian Shi

Qian Shi is an animation director, author, and illustrator currently based in London, UK. Originally from China, they completed a BA in Animation at Høgskulen i Volda, Norway, and an MA in Communication Design at the University of the Arts London. Qian's notable work includes contributing to Tim Burton’s film ‘Frankenweenie’ and publishing their debut picture book, ‘The Weaver,’ with Andersen Press in 2018. Since then, they have been freelancing as an animation director while also holding roles at various studios, including Electric Theatre Collective and Nexus Studios.
