Steff Farrar

Steff Farrar has been a business leader for over 20 years. Steff is currently the Director of Vocational Initiatives at Exceptional Minds, a position they have held since June 2020. Prior to that, they were the Vice President of Finance, Strategy & Business Development at Qwire Inc. from February 2019 to June 2020.

At Qwire, Steff was responsible for overseeing all aspects of the finance department, including corporate P&L responsibility, transactions related to the general ledger, expenses, receivables, payables, payroll, budgeting, reconciliation, financial reporting, and forecasting. Steff also built and implemented comprehensive business strategies for HR, sales, business development, SWOT analysis, competitive analysis, industry landscape mapping, and partner identification.

Under Steff's leadership, the company saved $800K against an operating budget of $3.4M by conducting a thorough review of historical financials and reassessing financial priorities. Steff also rolled out a 100% company-funded employee benefits package with no net increase to expenses. Additionally, they prospected 200 sales leads and achieved a 20% response rate.

Steff reports directly to the CEO and manages a team of three: a Sales and Business Development Associate, a Client Relationship Manager, and an Accounting Administrator.

Steff Farrar has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Southern California - Marshall School of Business, with a focus in strategy and finance. They also have a Graduate Certificate from USC's School of Cinematic Arts in business of entertainment, and a BS in Radio-Television-Film from The University of Texas at Austin.
