Bernie Boos

Bernie Boos is a highly experienced electrical engineer with significant expertise in automation systems and team management in the oilfield industry. Currently serving as the Lead Electrical Engineer at Dresser Natural Gas Solutions since January 2021, Bernie previously held key positions, including Engineering Manager at both Baker Hughes and GE Oil & Gas, where responsibilities included leading teams in developing automation solutions for Artificial Lift applications. With a background that also includes managing electrical engineering teams for downhole drilling tools and maintaining cased-hole logging tool designs, Bernie has demonstrated strong leadership and technical skills throughout a career that began with an internship at Bitwise Europe, B.V. Education credentials include an M.Sc. and B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Saskatchewan and the University of Calgary, respectively.
