Johanna Vuorela

Johanna Vuorela has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in product management, operations, and marketing. Johanna is currently working at DREST as the VP of Product, a position they have held since April 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Product Director - Games at DREST from August 2021 to April 2022, and as a Product Manager from November 2020 to July 2021.

Before joining DREST, Johanna co-founded Curioso Games in June 2019. Johanna also worked as the Director of Games at Blue Beck Ltd. from October 2018 to October 2020.

From 2015 to 2018, Johanna served as the Product & Operations Director at Boomdash Digital, where they were responsible for publishing strategy, product management, and analysis of customer and market data.

Earlier in their career, Johanna worked at Distinctive Developments Ltd. as the Commercial Director from January 2011 to August 2015. Johanna was involved in strategic planning, product marketing, and brand management for the company's mobile game portfolio. Johanna also held the role of Operations & Marketing Manager at Distinctive Developments Ltd. from February 2008 to January 2011, where they established and managed the Operations department, handled project management and business development, and oversaw distribution networks and partnerships.

Prior to that, Johanna worked at Hands-On Mobile as the Head of Post Production EMEA & Asia Pacific from April 2006 to January 2008, where they managed a multi-site Post Production department and handled strategic planning for post production projects.

Johanna also worked at iFone Limited as the Operations & Post Production Manager from July 2004 to March 2006, where they set up and managed the Operations and Post Production team for mobile game deployment and customer service.

Additionally, Johanna has experience as a Helpline Co-ordinator/Operations Manager at bss (Learndirect) from November 2003 to July 2004, and as a Change Management Trainer/Project Co-ordinator at Esso Serve Europe Ltd from August 2001 to November 2003.

Johanna Vuorela has a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Business Administration and Management from The Manchester Metropolitan University. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in International Business from Lahti University of Applied Sciences in Finland and Mälardalen University in Sweden.
