Roshana Paxton

Mindful N.e.s.t. Coordinator at Charles R Drew Charter School

RoShana Paxton has extensive experience in educational settings, currently serving as Student Support/Counselor and Assistant Teacher/Program Management at Montessori School at Emory since March 2006, where program coordination for children ages 6 months to 18 years, including those with disabilities, is a primary responsibility. Additional roles include Mindful N.E.S.T. coordinator at Charles R Drew Charter School since June 2019, Art Teacher/Camp Counselor at Druid Hills CDC from August 2004 to March 2006, and Lead Toddler Teacher at Downtown Child Development Center from 2001 to 2004. RoShana Paxton holds a Master of Education in Family and Community Services and a Bachelor of Social Science in Psychology from Ashford University, as well as a degree in Special Education from Jackson State University and currently pursues further education at Walden University.
