Robert Betts was admitted to the Georgia Bar in 2011, and joined a boutique litigation firm in 2012, where he gained experience in insurance defense, including automobile and trucking liability, premises liability, and general liability. In January, 2020, Mr. Betts began overseeing the firm’s entire litigation practice. As a result of Mr. Betts’s tireless determination and dedication to his clients, the firm continued to succeed and grow under his leadership. Mr. Betts managed the litigation practice of his firm until the practice merged with Drew, Eckl & Farnham in 2023.
Mr. Betts specializes in civil litigation, including premises liability; wrongful death and catastrophic injury; insurance defense, coverage issues, and bad faith claims; trucking liability; and appellate law. He began his career in the realm of environmental law, which remains a passion of his to this day.
Mr. Betts’ noteworthy achievements include winning reversal of a trial court order in a wrongful death case, affording his client substantial monetary relief. Barnes v. Martin-Price, 353 Ga. App. 621, 621, 838 S.E.2d 916, 917 (2020).
