Nigel McElhinney

Nigel McElhinney has extensive experience in the food industry, particularly in the ice cream sector. Nigel worked at Dreyer's Grand Ice Cream as the Director of New Product Development from February 2020. Prior to that, they held the same position at Nestlé Dreyer's Ice Cream from December 2017 to February 2020. Nigel also worked at Nestlé Product Technology Centre as a Manufacturing Manager from January 2016 to December 2017. Before that, Nigel was the Ice Cream Standards Manager at Nestlé R&D Centre, Inc from April 2014 to December 2015. Nigel held the role of Innovation & Renovation Manager at Nestlé Central America from November 2011 to March 2014. Nigel also has experience as the Factory Manager at Nestlé Grand Froid S.A. from October 2009 to October 2011, at Nestlé Finland from February 2005 to September 2009, and at Nestlé Puerto Rico (Payco Foods) from February 2000 to January 2005. Nigel started their career as a Production Manager at Nestlé Jamaica Ltd. (Cremo Ltd.) from April 1998 to January 2000.

Nigel McElhinney attended Coleraine Academical Institution from 1981 to 1998. Later, they pursued their higher education at the University of Nottingham from 1988 to 1992, majoring in Food Science and Technology. No degree was specified for either institution.
