Travis Smith

Travis Smith is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in power systems and project management. Currently serving as Director of Research & Special Projects at DRG Technical Solutions, LLC since June 2021, Travis has previously held significant roles, including Power System Research Engineer at Oak Ridge National Laboratory from October 2008 to June 2021, and Power Systems Consulting Engineer at EnerNex from March 2006 to October 2008. Travis's career began at Tennessee Valley Authority as a Senior Protection & Control Engineer and Instrument Mechanic, followed by a position as Senior Protection & Control Engineer at Georgia Power Company from October 2001 to March 2006.
