F-35 Contract Instructor at DRG

JM Pieczonka has a strong background in military aviation, with a focus on training and leadership. JM began their career in 2005 as an Air Officer for Regimental Combat Team Two and 2D Reconnaissance/2D Tank Battalions. JM then served as an F/A-18 and Air Officer Course Instructor at Marine Aviation Weapons and Tactics Squadron One from 2006 to 2009. Following this, they attended Air University's Command and Staff College as a graduate student from 2009 to 2010. JM went on to hold various roles in the Marine All Weather Fighter Attack Squadron 225, including Chief of Operations, Assistant Aircraft Maintenance Officer, and Director of Safety and Compliance from 2010 to 2013. From 2013 to 2014, they served as a USMC Aviation Training Systems Requirements Officer at Deputy Commandant for Aviation, US Marine Corps - Weapons Requirements. JM then took on the role of Joint Fire Support Principle Action Officer and Adversary/Commercial Air Services Requirements at Deputy Commandant for Aviation, US Marine Corps - Plans, Policy, and Budgeting from 2014 to 2016. In 2016, they became the Executive Officer/Flight Leadership Standardization Evaluator at Marine All Weather Fighter Attack Squadron 224 and MATSS Beaufort, USMC until 2017. JM then served as the Commanding Officer of Marine All Weather Fighter Attack Squadron 224 from 2018 to 2019. Most recently, they have been working as an F-35 Contract Instructor at Delaware Resource Group since 2020.

JM Pieczonka completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science and Physiology from the University at Buffalo, from 1993 to 1997. Following that, from 2009 to 2010, they attended Air University where they obtained a Master of Arts degree in Military Operational Art and Science with a specialization in Counterinsurgency Studies.
