Annebeth Wijtenburg currently serves as the Head of Communications, Government Relations, and ESG at DRI, where responsibilities include building the organization's strategy and team in these areas. Previous experience includes roles such as Head of Communications at the British Embassy in The Hague and Strategic Communications Consultant for the British Council, focusing on various projects in the Gulf and MENA regions. Additional roles feature PR & Communications Consultant positions at Ecology Media and M&C Saatchi, leading communications for the Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures, and managing communications for Element Materials Technology. Annebeth has held managerial positions at the World Travel & Tourism Council and content-producing roles at Ink. Annebeth Wijtenburg holds a Master's degree in Conflict Resolution and Governance from the University of Amsterdam and a Bachelor's degree in International Relations and Political History from Utrecht University.

DRI is dedicated to accelerating the energy transition in Central, Eastern and Southern Europe.
