Benjamin Beghin is a Corporate Development Associate at DRI, where responsibilities include new market entry strategies, market research, and providing strategic support to the M&A team. Previously, Benjamin served as a Strategy Consultant at Step Advisory, assisting CEOs and business leaders with strategic decision-making and M&A activities, notable for projects including developing a go-to-market strategy for a utilities client and conducting commercial due diligence for renewable energy investments. Additionally, during tenure as Strategic Projects Lead at UCOOK, Benjamin was instrumental in launching a new strategic venture focused on ready-made meal solutions. Benjamin holds a Bachelor of Business Science in Accounting and Finance from the University of Cape Town.

DRI is dedicated to accelerating the energy transition in Central, Eastern and Southern Europe. The company’s mission is to work in underserved markets in Europe to achieve their net zero goals through the creation of a portfolio of 5GW of renewable energy and battery storage by 2028.
