Rob Allerman

Rob Allerman has a strong background in power analytics and hydrology. Rob is currently working as the Senior Director of Power Analytics at Drillinginfo since August 2018. Prior to this, they worked at EDF Trading as the Head of North America Power Analytics and also as a Senior West Power Analyst. Rob also has experience as the Director of Renewable Power Analytics at 3TIER by Vaisala and as the Director of West Power Fundamentals at Deutsche Bank. Before moving into the power industry, they worked at Bonneville Power Administration, PacifiCorp, Bureau of Reclamation, and USDA-NRCS in various roles related to weather forecasting, hydro-generation, and hydrology. Rob is recognized for their exceptional analytics skills and their ability to develop new products and bring in big name clients. Rob has demonstrated success in managing teams, analyzing data to predict market volatility, and ensuring accurate data for power trading.

Rob Allerman completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Hydrology and Water Resources Science at the University of Nevada, Reno from 1990 to 1992. Rob then pursued further education and obtained a Master of Science degree in Hydrology and Water Resources Science from Portland State University, which they completed from 1992 to 1995.
