Martin Russell started their career in the oil and gas industry as a service technician at ESK Offshore in May 2013. Martin later joined Weatherford in November 2014, where Martin worked as a service technician. Martin then transitioned to Valaris Limited in February 2022 as a floorhand and currently works at Drillmar Resources since July 2023 as a roughneck and assistant derrickman. Throughout their career, Martin has demonstrated expertise in maintaining equipment used for cleaning tanks, working on Artificial lift operations, and assisting with various drilling operations. Martin received their education from Mintlaw Academy from 2000 to 2004.
