Shadi Bakour

Co-Founder & CEO at PATH

Shadi Bakour started their career in 2012 as a Co-Founder at Namkour, LLC. They then worked as a Private Equity Analyst at The Abraaj Group in 2012. In 2013, they worked as a Cost & Risk Analytics Consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton and also co-founded and served as the CEO of Exumme until 2014. From 2014 to 2015, Shadi took on various odd jobs, such as server, driver, and delivery driver, to support their entrepreneurial dream. In 2015, they co-founded PATH and served as the CEO. In 2020, Shadi became a Member of YPO and a Member of One Step Closer to an Organic Sustainable Community (OSC2). They were also honored with the 2023 YPO Global Impact Award for the Pacific West Region.

Shadi Bakour completed a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a focus on Finance and a minor in Economics from The George Washington University, where they studied from 2009 to 2013. Prior to that, from 2005 to 2009, Shadi attended Culver Academies, a military boarding school called the Black Horse Troop, as a Batten Scholar. This scholarship was awarded by the Founder of the Weather Channel. Shadi Bakour also holds a certification as a Real Estate Salesperson from the California Department of Real Estate, although the specific time of obtaining this certification is not provided.
