Neal Kumar, MD, MBA

Neal Kumar, MD, MBA has a diverse work experience spanning various sectors. Neal is currently the Co-Founder of Concierge MD LA, where they provide in-home and virtual medical services, including house calls, lab testing, physicals, diagnostic scans, vaccines, and IV therapy. Neal also serves as the Co-Founder of Drip Hydration, offering similar services on a global scale. Prior to these ventures, they worked as a Dermatologist at Andover Dermatology, specializing in general, cosmetic, and pediatric dermatology.

Outside of medicine, Kumar has pursued their passion for photography as a Professional Photographer since 2006. Additionally, they are the Co-Owner of Dermpedia, an organization dedicated to collecting and sharing dermatology and dermatopathology knowledge with a significant online following.

Kumar's educational background includes a MD/MBA combined degree program at Tufts University, where they completed their medical and business studies from 2009 to 2014. Neal also served as a Clinical Research Fellow in the Department of Dermatology at Tufts Medical Center from 2012 to 2013. Prior to that, they gained valuable experience as a Student Medical Consultant at Siemens Venture Capital, conducting due diligence and market research for potential investments in medical device startups. Neal also interned at Scientia Advisors.

In terms of clinical training, Kumar completed a Dermatology residency at Rush University Medical Center from 2015 to 2018. Throughout their career, they have exhibited a multidimensional skillset and a commitment to innovation and patient care.

Neal Kumar, MD, MBA has an extensive education history. Neal attended Tufts University School of Medicine from 2009 to 2014, where they earned a dual degree in Medicine and Health Management. Prior to that, they studied at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from 2003 to 2007 and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Biology, Chemistry, and Entrepreneurship. In addition to their degrees, they have also obtained a certification in MD/MBA, although the institution and specific date of attainment are unknown.
