Andrew Tongen

Andrew Tongen has a diverse work experience in the software engineering field. Andrew started their career at Avalanche Technology as a Lead Developer, where they managed and oversaw the custom application development process. Andrew focused on agile and lightweight languages and frameworks during their time there, from May 2004 to March 2011.

After that, Andrew worked at The Nerdery, where they held various roles. Andrew started as a Software Developer from December 2010 to December 2012, then became a Senior Software Engineer from January 2013 to December 2014, and finally served as Principal Software Engineer from January 2015 to August 2015.

In 2015, Andrew joined Leadpages as a Senior Engineer, where they worked from September 2015 to September 2016.

Currently, they are employed at Drip since September 2016. Andrew initially served as a Ruby on Rails Engineer, focusing on performance, infrastructure, and scaling until December 2017. Then, they were promoted to Senior Software Engineer and continues to work in this role.

Andrew Tongen earned a Bachelor of Arts degree at Saint John's University from 2000 to 2004. During this time, they pursued a double major in Math and Computer Science.
