Wendy Golden has a diverse work experience spanning from 2006 to present. In 2006, they worked as a Copy Writer for Baxtalo Drom, where they wrote all copy for a monthly event they co-produced with a team. In 2012, they worked as a Blogger for Sea Hag Confidential, a lifestyle blog examining issues facing women as they age. In 2019, they worked as a User Experience Researcher for San Francisco City Guides, a design sprint aimed at improving website interface for a walking tour company. Wendy also worked as a User Experience Consultant for BoothIQ, a wedding trade show app, and as a User Experience Designer for OMNIVORE BOOKS ON FOOD. Currently, they work as a Marketing Copywriter for DripDrop ORS and a User Experience Writer for Wysefit. Wendy is also a UX Writer for UX Writers Collective, where they assist the CEO with administrative tasks and scholarship assessment.

Wendy Golden has a diverse educational background. In 2019, they obtained a UX Design Immersion Certificate from General Assembly in the field of UX Design. In 2020, they earned a Certificate in UX Writing from UX Writers Collective and a Certificate in Content Testing and Research from the same institution. Wendy also obtained a Jodi Glickman on Pitching Yourself certificate from LinkedIn in March 2020. Prior to this, they completed a Master's program in English Language and Literature, General at San Francisco State University from 1996 to 2001. In addition, they earned a Bachelor of Arts - BA in English Language and Literature/Letters from California State University, Stanislaus from 1994 to 1996 and an Associate of Arts - AA in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies from Modesto Junior College from 1991 to 1994.
