Terence Koo has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning various industries. Terence is currently the Chief Financial Officer at Drive.com.au. Prior to this, from 2021 to 2022, they worked as an Independent Consultant, providing strategy, financial, and operational consulting services to organizations including DBL, Ahoy Club, Livingstone, and the NRL.

From 2019 to 2021, Terence served as the Chief Operating Officer of News Perform, a global Australian media and marketing business under News Corp. Here, they led the operations division and managed customer-facing functions such as product, sales, marketing, and content.

From 2017 to 2019, Terence held roles at Telstra, where they contributed to the launch of the Telstra Plus loyalty platform as the Strategy & Commercial Principal. Terence was also the GM Media Operations for Telstra Media & Marketing, overseeing program management, planning, reporting, data analytics, finance, and risk.

Before that, from 2013 to 2017, Terence worked at Optus, where they served as the Commercial Director for Retail, responsible for finance and commercial operations for the network of owned and franchised Yes Optus Stores. Terence started their career at PwC Australia as a Consultant and eventually worked their way up to the position of Manager. Terence also served as the National President of AIESEC Australia, leading national programs and initiatives for the youth-run leadership development organization.

Terence Koo's education history is as follows:

Terence completed the Global Executive MBA program at The University of Sydney Business School from 2016 to 2017. Prior to that, from 2014 to 2015, they participated in the Asialink Leaders Program at the University of Melbourne. In 2011, Terence obtained a Master's degree in Sustainable Development from UNSW. In 2002, they completed the CPA Australia Program to become a Certified Practicing Accountant. Terence's undergraduate degree, a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.), was earned from UNSW between 1996 and 1998, with a focus on Accounting and Marketing.

In addition to their formal education, Terence has obtained several certifications. In March 2022, they completed the Asialink Leaders Program at the University of Melbourne. Terence also holds certifications in "Product Management: Building a Product Strategy" and "Becoming an AI-First Product Leader," both obtained from LinkedIn in July 2021 and June 2021, respectively.
