Gerald Andrews

Gerald Andrews is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in automotive engineering and consultancy. Currently serving as Chairman at Drive System Design since September 2017, Gerald leads an award-winning consultancy specializing in transmission systems and electrified powertrains. Prior to this role, Gerald co-founded and served as Managing Director of Momentum Executive Solutions from June 2009 to August 2017, focusing on recruitment within the automotive technology, engineering, and energy sectors. Gerald also held director-level positions at Quantum and FFDevelopments, the latter being a significant consultancy that was acquired by Ricardo, where Gerald was Managing Director of the Driveline & Transmission Systems division from 1994 to 2004. Gerald's earlier career includes managing roles at AssetCo and as a Chief Engineer, with a solid educational foundation in Civil & Structural Engineering from The University of Sheffield.
