David Kilday

David Kilday has extensive work experience in software development and engineering. Their most recent role was as a Sr. Software Engineer and Team Lead at DriveCentric since 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Software Developer at Ministry Brands from June 2019 to January 2023, where they focused on payment processing and designed a new merchant portal.

From 2018 to 2019, David served as a Senior Applications Developer at Vortext Analytics. In this role, they were responsible for creating the database schema, developing Angular code, and implementing security features.

Before joining Vortext Analytics, David worked as a Senior Applications Developer at Clayton Homes from September 2015 to March 2018. During their tenure, they created web APIs, maintained Angular code, and improved stability and security.

Prior to that, David was an Applications Developer at Cellular Sales from September 2013 to September 2015. David handled bug fixes, implemented new functionality using MVC, and researched security vulnerabilities.

In addition, David has experience as a Small Business Owner and Manager at EZ Assessment from August 2011 to September 2015. David developed a SAAS product using Vue.js, Web APIs, and a SQL Server database.

Earlier in their career, David worked as a Reports Developer at Advanced Call Center Technologies from December 2012 to September 2013. Their responsibilities included creating and maintaining code for report creation and Oracle stored procedures.

David Kilday completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business Management at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville from 1995 to 1999. David later pursued higher education at the same institution and obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Mathematics Teacher Education from 2002 to 2004.
