Louisa Kamau

Louisa Kamau is currently the Materials Manager at Driven Lighting Group. Prior to this, they were the Product Manager/Buyer at Hyman, Inc. from July 2016 to February 2020. There, they developed the product strategy and roadmap for assigned consumer products, led cross-functional teams on new product development, and developed strategic plans to enhance sales and profitability. Louisa also managed the product lifecycle, supply chain demand plans, and performed high level supplier negotiations. In addition, they developed strategic supplier relationships and forecasting models consistent with inventory goals.

Before their time at Hyman, Inc., Kamau was the Category Manager/ Buyer at Millbrook Distribution Services from March 2002 to September 2004. Prior to that, they were the Manager at Summit PA Services from March 2005 to May 2015. There, they developed and executed all aspects of the business plan, developed long-term relationships with suppliers and customers, negotiated all contracts in accordance with company standards, managed employees and budgets, and developed key business metrics and controls. Louisa also conceptualized all aspects of marketing including strategy development.

Louisa Kamau graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Marketing from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.

Louisa Kamau reports to Brian Reese, CEO. Louisa Kamau works with Val Cheban - New Product Development, Josh Kossoff - IT Manager, and Nick Caloroso - National Sales Manager.
