Michael Hargrove

Michael Hargrove has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Michael currently serves as the Operations Control Lead at DriveWealth, a position they have held since September 2021.

Prior to joining DriveWealth, Michael spent six years at Société Générale as the Americas Vice President of the Oversight & Control Team. In this role, they provided leadership and direction to multiple units, including the SGNY Branch, SGAS Broker Dealer, and Futures Commission Merchant. Michael led a combined team consisting of onshore and offshore staff members, reporting key performance indicators and key risk indicators to the headquarters team in Paris on a weekly basis.

Before their time at Société Générale, Michael worked at Deutsche Bank as the Vice President/Client Relationship Manager for the Americas from November 2013 to May 2015. Michael was recruited to provide executive leadership and bridge the gap between the bank's entities in New York, Florida, and Delaware. Michael successfully developed communication strategies and identified synergies to consolidate the separate operations into one cohesive team, overcoming significant operational challenges in the process.

Earlier in their career, Michael held several positions at Goldman Sachs. From 2011 to 2013, they served as the Vice President/Department Manager, tasked with managing and strengthening the Interest Rate Derivative Operations Team. Michael also played a key role in establishing the Utah Global Control Department, redistributing workloads and providing comprehensive support to enhance operational portfolios. Michael successfully implemented business continuity measures and expanded global coverage through a "follow-the-sun" approach.

Prior to their time at Goldman Sachs, Michael worked at Salomon Brothers as an Analyst in Consolidated Management Reporting/General Accounting. In this role, they compiled global earnings and expense data for the financial areas of the company and its subsidiaries.
