Merary Portillo

Merary Portillo has a diverse work experience in graphic design and photography. Merary began their career in 2012 as a Graphic Designer at Subcutaneo Creative Studio and then worked at Industrias St. Jacks as a Graphic Designer for a few months in 2013. In the same year, they also worked as a Graphic Designer at PrintEA, Escuela Americana until 2015.

In 2017, Merary joined Houston Community College as a Lab assistant in the Photography Studio and simultaneously worked as a Photo Assistant at Terry Halsey Photography. Merary later joined The Booth Bot as a Graphic Designer & Operations staff in April 2017.

From 2018 to 2021, Merary worked at Hirsch Gift | HG as a Graphic Designer and Photographer. During this time, they also worked as a Contractor Photographer and Graphic Designer at Patriot Coolers and as a Contract Photographer at Hirsch Gift | HG from 2021 to 2022.

In 2022, Merary joined DRMP, Inc. as a Graphic Designer. Throughout their career, they have gained experience in various roles and industries, showcasing their skills and expertise in graphic design and photography.

Merary Portillo pursued their higher education in a progressive manner, beginning with a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design from Universidad Dr. José Matías Delgado. Merary attended the university from 2008 to 2013. Afterward, they enrolled at Houston Community College from 2015 to 2017, where they studied Digital Communications and Photography, though the specific field of study is not mentioned.

Additionally, Merary Portillo obtained two additional certifications to enhance their skills and expertise. In May 2016, they earned an Adobe Certified Associate in Print & Digital Media Publication Using Adobe InDesign from Adobe. Later, in April 2022, they acquired a certification named "Photoshop-Illustrator-InDesign Powercombo for Design" from LinkedIn.
