Alexandra Velasco

Alexandra Velasco currently serves as the Head of PR & Comms at Droga5, a position held since January 2024. Prior to this role, Alexandra was the Director of Communications at GUT from August 2020 to January 2024. Alexandra's earlier experience includes positions as Account Director at DiGennaro Communications and Powell Communications, as well as Account Manager and Public Relations Intern at Powell Communications. Additionally, Alexandra interned at Clear Channel Communications, where responsibilities included writing articles, producing commercial spots, and engaging with radio content. Earlier internships also included roles at the University of South Florida in athletics production and marketing, and journalism at Dennis, where Alexandra wrote articles and covered events. Alexandra holds a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication & Media Studies and English from the University of South Florida.
