Mathias Declercq

Mathias Declercq is a Senior Associate at Droia Ventures since December 2021, with prior experience as an Associate and Scientific Analyst. Before joining Droia Ventures, Mathias worked as a Doctoral Researcher at VIB from December 2017 to December 2021. An internship in MSc Management was completed at KU Leuven in 2017, and previous internships in MSc Biochemistry & Biotechnology were held at KU Leuven Campus Kulak Kortrijk. Mathias holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Biomedical Sciences from KU Leuven (2017-2021), a Master of Science in Management (2016-2017), a Master of Science in Biochemistry and Biotechnology (2014-2016), and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Biotechnology from KU Leuven (2011-2014), along with additional master's studies at the University of Gothenburg in 2015.
