Shannon Penaluna has held a variety of roles in the finance industry. In 2022, they became the VP of Finance at DRONAMICS. Prior to that, they were a Senior Associate at Alvarez & Marsal in 2021, and a Commercial Finance Analyst at Octopus in 2021. From 2017-2021, they held various roles at Deloitte UK, including Manager | Valuations, Assistant Manager Corporate Finance, Assistant Audit Manager, Senior Associate, and Associate. Shannon also served as Treasurer at the Phaphama Small Enterprise Development Initiative (NPO) from 2014-2017.
Shannon Penaluna completed their Post Graduate Diploma in Accounting at the University of Cape Town in 2016. Prior to this, they obtained a Bachelor of Business Science (CA Route) in Accounting from the University of Cape Town between 2012 and 2015. Before attending university, Shannon attended St Stithians Girls College between 2009 and 2011 and Dainfern College between 1999 and 2008.
