Carrick Detweiler is the Chief Executive Officer of Drone Amplified since September 2015. Prior to this, they worked as a Professor at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln since August 2010. Carrick also served as the Co-Founder and Co-Director of the NIMBUS Lab, where they focused on developing more robust and reliable drone systems and software.
Carrick Detweiler pursued their higher education in a diligent and systematic manner. From 2000 to 2004, they attended Middlebury College, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics and Computer Science. Following their undergraduate studies, Carrick pursued further academic excellence at the prestigious Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) from 2004 to 2010. Carrick completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Science. Through these educational experiences, Carrick Detweiler cultivated a strong foundation in the fields of Mathematics and Computer Science.
