Robert Garbett FRAeS attended Cranfield University from 1994 to 1997, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B Eng(hons)) degree in Electronic Systems Engineering. In 2004, they received a Certificate of Commendation from the Defence Logistics Organisation and obtained Civil Aviation Authority Accreditation from the British Army. In 2006, they obtained the Prince 2 Practitioner certification from Quanta Training Ltd. Furthermore, in September 2019, they achieved the FRAeS designation from the Royal Aeronautical Society.
