David Collins

David Collins has a diverse work experience in the field of drones and utilities. David is currently the Director of Operations for Utilities/Solar at DroneBase since June 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Duke Energy Corporation as a UAS Project Lead from March 2020 until June 2022. David also had a role as a UAS Pilot at Duke Energy Corporation from November 2019 to March 2020. Before that, they were the Director of Flight Ops/Chief Pilot at Cloudeye Drone Services, LLC from March 2019 to June 2022. David also worked as a Pilot in Command (Project Pilot) at PrecisionHawk from March 2019 to August 2019.

David's earlier work experience includes being the Senior Director and Managing Partner at Tarheel Monitoring, LLC, where they provided satellite tracking GPS electronic monitoring and alcohol monitoring services from 2009 to February 2019.
