Clay Koberlein

Clay Koberlein is a seasoned software engineering professional with extensive experience in various roles across multiple companies. Currently serving as a Software Engineering Manager at DroneDeploy since March 2018, Clay has advanced from Senior Software Engineer to Lead Software Engineer during this tenure. Prior to DroneDeploy, Clay was employed at IBM from June 2014 to March 2018, leading UI development efforts for the Hardware Management Console. Clay's career began at National Oilwell Varco, where responsibilities included architecting Java-based and C++ applications for new product development and embedded systems, as well as designing software for performance drilling data analysis. Education includes a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems from Iowa State University.
