Vad Melnyk

Vad Melnyk is an experienced professional in the tech industry with a strong focus on innovation and entrepreneurship. Vad is the CEO and Founder of Dronehub, a company revolutionizing the UAV industry with autonomous charging solutions. At Dronehub, Vad has developed an innovative system that eliminates the need for manual intervention in drone battery swapping, providing seamless battery replacement and charging capabilities for all industrial drones.

Prior to Dronehub, Vad served as the Chief Executive Officer of Cervi Robotics from 2015 to 2019. Vad'srole involved setting the strategic direction of the company, managing key relationships, and ensuring financial health. Cervi Robotics offered comprehensive solutions in hardware prototypes and enterprise consulting, covering the entire development cycle from prototyping to mass production.

Vad also gained valuable experience at Microsoft, where they held multiple roles. Vad served as the Chief of Unicorn Division, spearheading the identification, development, and acceleration of high-potential startups and innovative projects. Additionally, Vad was a Microsoft Student Partner, playing a pivotal role in fostering a thriving tech community at the University of Information Technology and Management. Vad led the local .NET community and the New Technologies Academic Club, which attracted over 200 students.

Through their diverse experiences, Vad Melnyk has demonstrated their expertise in entrepreneurship, innovation, and leadership in the tech industry.

Vad Melnyk completed their Engineer's degree in Computer Engineering from Wyższa Szkoła Informatyki i Zarządzania w Rzeszowie from the year 2012 to 2016. Vad also participated in an Erasmus program at Universidad Europea in 2014, focusing on Information Technology. Before that, they attended Ukrainian Grammar School #1 from 2011 to 2012 and Prior Lake High School from 2010 to 2011.

Aside from their formal education, Vad Melnyk has obtained additional certifications. In 2020, they completed Growth Training Sessions from Growth Tribe and PowerMBA from ThePowerMBA.
