Jared P.

Jared P. has a wealth of experience in the technology field. Jared began their career in 2006 as a Salesperson at Harvey Norman. In 2011, they moved on to Nortec IT Business Solutions as a Software Developer, where they implemented a IP Telephony and Utilities billing system. In 2012, they joined The University of Queensland as a Research Engineer and UQ Engineering Tutor. During this time, they worked on enhancing flight input response/control for Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs - Quadrotors). In 2013, they were hired by IBM as a Software Engineer, where they worked as an IBM Security expert to support clients worldwide. In 2018, they joined Boeing as a Senior Software Engineer, working on the future of autonomous aviation and assisting in development of the Airpower Teaming System (ATS) / Loyal Wingman. Most recently, in 2021, they became the Chief Technology Officer at DroneSec.

Jared P. attended The University of Queensland from 2009 to 2013, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) (B.Eng.H) in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering. In 2011, they also attended the University of Birmingham and obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. In 2009, Jared P. obtained a Certificate IV in Business Sales from REAL Corporate Partners. In addition, they have obtained an Aeronautical Radio Operator Certificate from the Civil Aviation Safety Authority in October 2020, an Applied First Aid & CPR from Brisbane First Aid in January 2012, a Certificate IV in Business Sales from REAL Corporate Partners through Harvey Norman in January 2010, and an Offensive Security Certified Professional from Offensive Security.
