Grant Canary

Grant Canary is the current CEO of DroneSeed. Prior to this, they were the VP of Project Development at Enterra Feed Corporation from September 2012 to July 2014. At Enterra, Grant was responsible for supporting the CEO's fundraising & investor due diligence, project management, business development and expansion strategy, and the sales team and product regulation. Over two years Grant and the team took Enterra from the lab to a pilot facility, and then planned and executed the construction of a flagship facility.

Some of Grant's notable achievements include increasing Enterra's company share price 19x over two years, being the primary liaison to a $5M Venture Capital (VC) firm & CEO and receiving investment, building and presenting materials to address key concerns of investors (VC's), responsible for substantiating cash-flow model for four VC due diligence teams, presenting at Angel Investment Forums (Keiretsu & VANTEC), managing integrating schedule for all company departments, building company budget for 2013 and capital budget for Langley flagship facility, reducing capital budget 30% for multi-million flagship facility with team and suppliers, managing 2x multi-million suppliers through RFP, design, PO, install, ship, change orders, managing flagship facility construction schedule up to handover to operations, managing team effort (resources, budget, schedule) to construct a small demonstration facility prior to the flagship facility to grow the company's operations & for an investor showcase, managing sales team specifically opening sales channels, and US product permitting, responsible for zoning and environmental compliance for expansion, built GIS customer contact lists and selection criteria for company expansion cities.

Grant Canary has a Bachelor of Arts from Occidental College in Urban Environmental Policy & Sociology. Grant also has a Master of Science in Engineering: Design and Management of Processes from Universidad de La Sabana and a Master of Science in Systems Design from Politecnico di Torino. Grant also has certification from Vestas in Six Sigma Green Belt and from Project Management Institute (PMI) in Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
