Hedley Boyd-Moss

Hedley Boyd-Moss is the Vice President of Engineering at DroneShield. Hedley has over 20 years of experience in RF and antenna engineering, and has been with DroneShield for 5 years. Prior to joining DroneShield, they worked as an independent contractor for May 2017 to December 2017. Her work consisted of RF and antenna engineering leadership and training, as well as assistance in radio network frequency planning and intermodulation studies. Hedley also has experience in antenna and antenna combining design and system implementation, radio communication coverage modelling and optimisation, radio communication link budget calculations, measurements and analysis, site radio interference diagnostics, tracing and resolution, electronics product manufacturing and production ready evaluation, system and product generated heat management designs, product or system battery evaluation and scoping, regulatory radio communication standards interpretation and pre-testing preparedness, wireless multi-system static site or mobile platform co-habitation evaluation and assessment, PCA Manufacturing inspection to IPC 610 A class III, PCA SMT and Through Hole manufacturing processes and QA inspections, ESD Management in work place environments, new and optimised antenna designs using assisted computer modelling, and antenna testing using VNA, anechoic chamber and outdoor test ranges.

Hedley Boyd-Moss studied radio communication engineering at the Post Office Engineering College.

They are on a team with Red McClintock - Director, Carl Norman - Vice President, Embedded Systems, and Lawrence Marychurch - Vice President, Design. Their manager is Oleg Vornik, CEO.
