Anthony Vittone's work experience begins in 1993 when they worked as an Associate in the Intellectual Property Department at McGuire Woods Battle & Boothe, LLP. In this role, they provided general advice on intellectual property protection and drafted various license and acquisition agreements.
In 1996, Vittone joined Mezzullo & McCandlish as an Associate in the Corporate Law Department. Anthony stayed in this role until 1999.
From 1999 to 2004, Vittone worked at Decipher, Inc. as a Senior Vice President.
In 2004, Vittone joined Swimways Corporation where they progressed internally through roles of increased responsibility. Anthony served as Vice President & General Counsel, Vice President of Business Development & Legal Affairs, and Senior Vice President. In this role, they provided executive leadership for business and legal operations.
Most recently, Vittone has been working at DroneUp as the Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer since 2018. Here, they oversee pilot operations, finance, legal, private equity investment, risk management, business development, and HR. Anthony played a crucial role in leading the start-up and growth of the organization, expanding the network of commercial pilots.
Anthony Vittone attended the University of Richmond from 1986 to 1990, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and American Studies from Richmond College. Following this, in 1990, they enrolled at the University of Richmond School of Law and completed their Juris Doctorate degree in 1993. Anthony Vittone then resumed their education in 2010, attending the William & Mary – Raymond A. Mason School of Business, where they earned an MBA in 2011, specializing in Business.
