Gene Campbell has over 16 years of experience in the field of character art direction. Gene began their career in 2004 as a Senior Character Modeller at Mainframe Entertainment Inc. In 2006, they moved to EA Monteral as an Assc. Character Modeler. In 2007, they took on the role of CG Generalist at Stage 3 Media. In 2008, they became a Character Artist at Propaganda Games, where they were responsible for in-game character creation, managing and directing outsourced content, and general quality control and polish work across the internal team. In 2010, they became a Character Artist at Next Level Games. In 2011, they were a Lead Modeller at Nerd Corps Entertainment. In 2012, they became a Senior Character Artist at Microsoft Studio Victoria. In 2014, they took on the roles of Franchise Character Lead Artist and Lead Character Artist at Kabam. In 2021, they became a Lead Character Artist at Yumebau Inc. Most recently, in 2022, they became a Character Art Director at Drop Fake.
Gene Campbell attended the Vancouver Film School from 2002 to 2003, where they studied 3D Modeling and Texturing.
