Colin Brown

Colin Brown is an experienced engineer and entrepreneur, currently serving as Founder & Head of Engineering at Mr. Turtle, where efforts focus on addressing the single-use plastic issue within the laundry detergent industry. Concurrently, Colin works as a Contract Engineer at Drop Water, contributing to research and development through machining and fabrication, including operating manual and CNC equipment. Previous roles include Research And Development Technician at Central Coast Brewing, Inc., where culinary skills were honed, and dairy pasteurizer and cheese maker at California Polytechnic State University, where large-scale cheese production and machinery maintenance were key responsibilities. Colin's early career included hands-on experience as an Apprentice Mechanic and as a Dishwasher, demonstrating a strong foundation in maintenance and customer service. Colin holds a degree in Economics with a minor in Entrepreneurship and Industrial Technology from Cal Poly Orfalea College of Business.
