Ben Jones is a Senior Software Engineer at Dropbox, where Ben serves as the Filesystem API Tech Lead since October 2022. Previously, Ben held positions at Google as a Software Engineer and Software Engineering Intern from May 2016 to August 2022. Ben contributed to research at Princeton University as a Graduate Research Assistant while pursuing a Master’s Degree in Computer Science from 2015 to 2016, focusing on Internet censorship under the guidance of Nick Feamster. At Georgia Institute of Technology, Ben was a Graduate Research Assistant and earned a Ph.D. in Computer Science from 2013 to 2014, developing network measurement systems for Internet censorship detection.
