Brooks McMillin

Brooks McMillin is a seasoned security engineer with a robust background in cybersecurity and software development. Currently employed at Dropbox since January 2022, Brooks previously held security engineering roles at Meta and American Airlines, where responsibilities included managing web application security and configuring firewalls. Earlier experience includes serving as the Head of Security Operations at NOVAM, developing an IoT client, and as CTO at Signal Aware, focusing on traffic analysis tools. Brooks also contributed to custom security solutions at Inteligus Solutions and developed web applications for Lewisville ISD, in addition to research roles at the University of Texas at Dallas. Academic credentials include a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from The University of Texas at Dallas.
